Coronavirus Stimulus Payment (Tax Relief) FAQs

Based on the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) signed into law on March 27, 2020, you may be eligible to receive financial relief from the federal government in the form of a stimulus payment – Economic Impact Payment.

What do I need to do to get my stimulus payment?

If you filed your taxes in 2018 or 2019, your stimulus payment will be sent to the bank account or mailing address listed on your tax return.  You can update your information and add direct deposit information with the IRS Get My Payment online tool. 

If you’re not required to file taxes or don’t receive Social Security benefits, you can use the IRS Non-tax filer online tool to apply.

Can I have my refund sent to my Wisely Pay card?
